Ken Hamidi and his horse (Ponytium III), Jerry Bestpitch and his horse (Ponytium II), Karen Hull, and Sharon Donaldson are approaching Intel's headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
In June of 99, Intel got a judge to issue an
injunction, which bars Ken Hamidi from sending e-mail to any Intel employees
On July 2, 99, Ken Hamidi appealed judge's decision. And on July 6, 99, he delivered his e-mail message in low-tech style.
"I'll fight Intel all the way to the Supreme Court, yet I will continue delivering my messages one way or another. As a free man I demand justice and am in search of my constitutional rights. Intel thinks it can buy, sell, or ignore people's rights. Intel's executives are practicing dictatorship and have forgotten that United States is still a free country, I'll refresh their memory." Said Hamidi.
Bob Lawson, Intel's appointed representative awaited at Intel's headquarters gate located at: 2200 Mission College Blvd. in Santa Clara, California to receive Ken Hamidi's e-mail message, which was stored in a floppy disk. "I am here to receive your message and deliver it to PROPER AUTHORITIES." Said Bob Lawson.

July 6, 1999 "Pony E-mail Express" delivered message
Dear Intel employee:
You may have wondered why you have not received email from me since September 1998. Intel sued me and obtained a restraining order which bars me from sending any email over the Internet to any Intel computer system.
Intel says that I was trespassing by sending email over the Internet. I was not trespassing, but exercising my right to free speech.
I am a law abiding citizen, and have no intent of violating the court order. I will therefore deliver my future emails by other means like this. I have to rely on Intel to deliver this message to you.
I have filed an appeal of the court judgment against me, and I promise you as fellow citizens that I will fight this case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary. Why do I do this? Because if Intel can silence me, it can silence us all.
We are at the brink of a new frontier - the Internet. My case will set an important precedent, and I take that responsibility very seriously because it is any American's civic duty to protect and defend the First Amendment.
Support me now, as you have in the past, to stop the Goliath Intel from abolishing First Amendment rights and from controlling speech in this new frontier.

Thank you, and God bless you and America,
